Hi everyone, I am Chris, a form 5 student from 5 Olympic 1 class. In this essay, I am going to write about the most common challenges that we face as students and how to overcome those challenges. As a form 5 student, I face so many challenges. I am going to talk about them based on my 5-year experience.
First of all, excellence in studying is the biggest challenge. Our subjects have become the biggest challenges because they are all so important. In this 21st century, if we do not have any knowledge, we are going nowhere. That is why students face a lot of stress when it comes to studies. As a student, I always ask myself how to deal with academic problems. I have found a new solution for it. The solution is you need to respect your teacher. That is the most important thing. To avoid stress and depression, you need to pay 100% attention to your teacher during class. You can also ask questions to your teacher for anything you do not understand. Then, studying will become easy.
Our second problem will be about relationships between students. It is fun, right? But it is also the biggest challenge for students. For some students, relationships are a great source of love and support. Yes, that is right. But do not forget that they can also be a source of pain and distraction from your vision and mission. It can change your mood. I am not telling all of you that having a relationship is wrong, but I am telling you that you need to know how to deal with your relationship problems. How to deal with it? The answers are based on your own attitude. When you have a bad relationship, note to yourself, stay calm and just focus on your studies. There are also a few more ways such as less overthinking, and more talking to your classmates to find the best ways to solve your problems.
And our last problem is money or financial stability. It is also the biggest challenge for students, especially students that live in the hostel. Students still do not know how to control their spending. Moreover, students constantly find themselves spending their money on things like reload cards, bubble tea and much more. I believe that financial problems can affect our academic performance. So, we need to overcome it. The best way to solve it is by learning how to save money. It is so important. One way to save money is to set saving goals.
Based on my experience, those are the most challenging things that students face. The conclusion is challenges and struggles are a part of students’ lives. It is okay to feel sad and down sometimes, but what matters is how do you get back up again and face those challenges. That is what matters. Actually, challenges make us stronger and better. It is just part of a process. I am hoping that all of the students will be more serious in their studies because that will make them succeed in the future. There is always a rainbow after the rain.
